(earth atmosphere)
These are typical absorption lines of the Sun. An absorption line is connected with a discoverer's name and called Fraunhofer line. On the absorption line which is very conspicuous, Fraunhofer attached to discriminate the sign of the capital letter or a small letter of the alphabet such as A and B. The absorption line by the earth atmosphere was also contained in it.

The upper pictures was carried out video photography on August 17 and 18, 2000 using 65cm Solar Coude Telescope of Okayama Astrophysical Observatory.


代表的な太陽の吸収線です. 吸収線は発見者の名前からフラウンホーファー線(Fraunhofer line)と呼ばれています. フラウンホーファーはよく目立つ吸収線にA, B等のアルファベットの大文字や小文字の記号をつけて識別しました. その中には地球大気による吸収線も含まれていました.

上の画像は,岡山天体物理観測所65cm太陽クーデ望遠鏡で, 2000年8月17日,18日にビデオ撮影したものです.
